• A 50% deposit payment is required at the time of booking. Payment in full is required upon arrival. If you cancel within 14 days or do not show up for your hunt, your payment will be forfeited and you will not be refunded.

 

• The policy extends to all parties in your group. For example, if a payment was paid for 3 hunters and one hunter cancels their hunt within the 14 day notice period, then the payment for the hunter shall be forfeited.

• We reserve the right to cancel hunts due to unsafe weather conditions. If weather dictates the cancellation of your hunt, we will refund monies paid. However, if you decide to cancel your hunt due to weather, any monies paid will be forfeited if the cancellation falls within the 14 day cancellation period.

• We reserve the right to cancel hunts if we deem members of the party to be behaving in an unsafe manner or if the event of ungentlemanly conduct. We do not tolerate any form of verbal or physical abuse towards our guides, staff or dogs. Unsafe or abusive behavior will result in the immediate cancellation of the hunt and forfeiture of any monies.

• We reserve the right to cancel a hunt in the event of injury to one of our dogs requiring medical treatment. Clients are reminded that the dogs are part of the hunt and as such any injury to the dogs constitutes part of the hunt experience. Injury may include, but is not limited to: being shot, snake bite, animal attack, barbed wire, broken bones, etc. Injury to a dog resulting in the cancellation of your hunt will result in forfeiture of any monies paid.

 

• Pricing for hunts or other related services are subject to change without notice any time prior to reserving a hunt.

 

• Guest will pay for or reimburse The Feathered Point, LLC, or staff members for any damaged property, injuries to dogs, or medical injuries due to negligence or carelessness of guest. I shall pay in full the fee of $10,000 per each shot dog to The Feathered Point, LLC. This agreement hereby stands irrespective of whether the dog/s die resulting from their injuries. Any incident of a dog provided by The Feathered Point LLC being shot will also result in the immediate termination of the hunt and forfeiture of the monies paid for guiding services.

 

• Safety is our main priority. Your guide will have a safety briefing with you before your hunt, however we ask you keep the following in mind:

 

*All guns must be completely unloaded and safe at lodge.

* All guns must be completely unloaded while on the side by side driving to hunting locations.

*If hunting with a double gun, please keep the gun open until the dogs go on point for a covey of quail are located.

*If hunting with a semi-auto or pump-action gun, please:

 - only load 2 shells into the gun

 - while walking, ensure barrels are pointed upwards towards the sky,

 - pick up all hulls ejected from the gun

• Do not shoot birds on the ground!!!! Ground shooting poses a significant risk to our dogs. Let the dogs retrieve any crippled birds.

The Feathered Point, LLC owns all rights, titles and interest in and to record guest names, image, voice, or statements including any and all photographic images and video and audio recordings made by the Host.
